Inspired by Wes Anderson’s style (and fondness for featuring trains) - I decided to pay him homage in the form of a nostalgia tinted Network Rail information film. One of many train animations I’ve made over the years!!

So I wanted nicely framed shots and character moments to tell a story and compliment the voiceover. Keeping the tone lighthearted and playful worked quite well (despite the topic of delays!).
Design and style-wise I wanted it to feel interesting and hand-drawn - but had to keep character animation minimal for time.
